Urban villages

San Jose’s planning areas for denser, walkable growth; Stevens Creek and Santana Row are two of them.

Stevens Creek Boulevard is the central artery of two of San Jose’s future urban villages, named Stevens Creek and Santana Row. The city also designated the wider Winchester area as a potential urban village, which in the 2010s put pressure on older uses nearby such as the Century domes and the Winchester Ranch mobile-home park.
