Vincent G. Raney designed the Century 21, 22 and 23 for Syufy Enterprises, which ran the Century chain, and went on to build dome theaters across the western United States for about 30 years. He took the idea from the plans for the Los Angeles Cinerama Dome. The Winchester Boulevard domes stood on Raney family land.
